The running 4
Well well. The Running 4: McMug (Jack Russell Terrier), NoNo (Golden Retriever x German Sheperd), Zach (Bull Terrier) and Pepper Boy (Silky terrier x Snauzer) are on the move again. These 4 dogs used to run free on the field and hadn't been doing it for a long time until Yesterday evening. We took Mug down for his walk quite early yesterday instead the usual 9pm. So we met Pepper Boy, then NoNo then Zach.
Once NoNo saw the old gang her inner urge to play burst into flame! Muahahahaha..., but you see, NoNo is a big dog so her Dad can't really control her if she becomes too active, and at that time there are too many people, especially children walking around.
Soooo... we decided to go to the field! Yeahhhhh... And so, McMug in the lead, we walk towards the overhead bridge. (Bad choice cos NoNo wanted to chase after McMug but her Dad try to slow her down. We have to change the "formation" where NoNo walk first.)
One by one, we, the owners, unleash our dog at the empty field. They ran towards the middle of the field and the fun BEGAN! Funny thing was, all 3 dogs aim for McMug. Hahahaha... Poor Mug got chased by the other 3 fellows. First he had to out run NoNo ( who was too big and fast) then try to wrestle Pepper Boy, then Zach came charging behind. All of us, the owners just stood there and laugh. Within a few minutes all four of them are covered with fresh mown grass and mud. Sometimes I really envy them. Something so dirty can be so fun. No restriction, no worries, just pure fun. But then of course, if their owners are not like us, I down think they'll have the luxuary of having so much fun. Imagine those owners screaming their head off when they see a muddy dog or another dog playing 'rough' with their dog. (well,if it's agressive kind then I won't call if play).
Just to side track a little, this reminds me of Toto-chan, a story about a lady childhood, when her school headmaster ask the parents to let the children where their worst clothes to school. Why? So that they can play all that they want without worrying about dirtying their clothes and getting scolded by the parents. Hmm... how nice.
Back to the topic. When we return to our side of the road, we met Pepper Girl (Snauzer), Max (white poodle) and Vivi(black miniature Pincture). Hahaha... just look at the contrast. Pepper Girl is well known for her wonderful grooming, The "princess" among the dogs in the estate. Max and Vivi just got their bath. And then there stood the 4 muddy, grassy dogs. Well, we couldn't like the dirty gang play with the clean group right? And then there ends our short, but yet happy time running around.
(Just to add in, the one down point about running in the field is, there is no fencing around the field. I'm actually afraid McMug might run onto the road and the other 3 just follow. In case you don't know how "blind" McMug can be when he starts his running craze, he knocked into a small tree once when he was playing chase with Max, and twice he knocked into the tiny ViVi when he was playing chase with Max (again).)
