Question.
Does dogs with flatter nose pant louder?
Why this question? well, McMug had been playing run and chase with Didi (Shih Tzu) nearly every weekday night. And after running and chasing, both of them will pant. But Didi to the extent that I'm afraid he will die of heart attack soon. A bit exaggerating, but he really pants very loudly and rapidly. So I wonder. Anyone has the answer?

I'm really not sure if it has anything to do with the snort. I learnt from a vet some time back that its the length of their tongue that is causing the "obstruction" thus the loud breathing sound.
