Annual vaccination
My dad and I walked McMug to the vet today. It was a long and hot walk but McMug enjoyed it. Heh heh, he still didn't know where he was going at that time. Finally we reached the clinic, only to find ourselves waiting for about 20minutes even though we had already made an appointment. But well, sometimes they just can't help something like this to happen. Some pets may have more problems than others and take up more time.
Beside us was a 3 months old Pekinese. He (or is it a she?) just cuddle up in the owner's hands and sleepily looked around him. And then a Maltese quietly sat on the owner's lap waiting fro their turn to go in. Before us was a Shetland sheep dog and I think the whole family was there (2 ladies, 3 gentlemen were there) and all of them went into the vet's room with the dog. O_o The room is so small. I wonder how they managed to squeeze into it. And then there was this poor little rabbit which, I overheard talking to the vet assistant, had not been eating for 1 whole week. The lady owner was crying her nose red, hoping the vet could see the rabbit soon.
Anyway, all these while McMug was behaving as all JRTs do. He was "on the move" all thime while we were waiting for our turn. He sniffed at other dogs, pawed on the glass door (trying to get out of the place) and jumped up and down from my dad's and my lap. And because he wanted to get out and he couldn't if I don't help him, he did all his "Sit", "Down", "Shake" (as in shake hands) tricks obediently. Haha, this time I've got the upper hand. Muahhahahahaha...
Then comes McMug's turn to go in. Actually nothing interesting happened. The vet checked his eyes again (the last time he injurned his eyes slightly) and then his teeth. And finally gave him the injection. How was he like during the injection? He stood on his hind legs, fore legs on my dad's shoulders and then turnhis head around looking at his butt while the vet inject the needle into him. No howling or whining of pain. *Nod head* Brave doggy.
And so, this put an end to "The visit to the vet" episode. Thank you for joining us, tune in for more interesting stories and adventure of McMug. (I'm sure something interesting will bound to happen to him some how.)

Nothing interesting happen n u say one full page!! haha I only realise there were other dog lovers like you when you mention abt the crying rabbit owner and family function dog. Wana rear a dog but when I look at ur blog, something says 'You are not ready'.
hmm... good, good. Many people get a dog without considering if they can take care of it or not. They ended up giving the dogs away or just abandon them. So poor thing.

McMug sure is a brave one... I take care of a Cairn Terrier and she is nowhere as calm during her vet visits.
Your blog is really interesting too, am looking forward to future entries!
hi Shecairnbark, thanks for your comment. Hopefully McMug will be up to more mischeive so that I have something to write about. Ha!
