McMug's update
Hasn't update on how's McMug for a looooooooooong time. Remember the big red lump on his hind leg? It has subsided and is less itchy now, however, the fur have not grown back fully yet. I wonder if there will be a scar left behind. Nonetheless, as long as McMug is healthy I'm OK to have a dog with a scar. A JRT is no whinny punny creature, alright. A scar makes him more "Macho". Hahahahahaha...
Anyway, we haven't met our usual gang during our daily night walks. Not sure if the other dog owners decided to change their timing of walking their dog or due to other reasons they didn't come down in the usual timing. McMug is kind of lonely. Sob sob... even the cats don't seems to want to play with him anymore. Maybe McMug is too rough and others don't like him? Wahhhhh...
Just recently McMug finally managed to grasp the idea of allowing me to balance a kibble on his head and drop it only after I say "OK". Hee hee... I'm quite proud of him (hahaha... when haven't been I proud of him? hohohohoho)

In the end I brought McMug to the vet. This rascal is now afraid to go to the vet. He would stopped walking at the steps leading to the clinic and I had to drag him in. He wouldn't sit still while we wait for his turn. He whined, went up and down the seat, squeezed between my back and wall, and paced around the waiting area. He even growled at a Shetland who tried to be friendly. Hmph. Grouchy ain't him?
So the vet saw that ugly lump and thought it might be some sort of sting by bee or centipede. I had to hold him still while the vet assistant tried to squeeze the pus out. McMug was given antibiotic, anti inflammatory and anti-fungal medication, and I was given a $69 bill. Urgh.
And what's McMug doing now? lying on my bed with his trumpet looking like "E-collar" on. We had to put that on for him to prevent him from biting or licking the lump. Don't worry, McMug is still as active and as much a rascal as a Jack Russell can be.
