On our way to buy dinner just now, my dad and I saw Echo running around on his own in the void deck. From far, at first I thought it was a cat. Then on a closer look, then I realise it's Echo. We called him and look around but didn't see the owner. Hmm... another little rascal sneaked out of home.
Fortunately he resoponded to his name and came walking innocently to us. I carried him and brought him back home. The gate was left slightly ajar, and the dad was sitting at the sofa watching TV. He had a puzzled look when he saw us, obviously hadn't notice his dog was missing, and I'm actually carrying it.
"He ran out of house" I told him.
"Huh! Oh! Thank you"
Echo jumped off my hand and happily ran back home. Before my dad and I left we heard Echo's dad asking someone in the house "When did he ran out?"

This scene is soooooo familiar. Why? Well, McMug "ran away from home" twice before. First time he ran pass my mum when she went to throw the garbage, and down the staircase. My mum ran after him and the more she chased him the further he ran. So she had to picked up a littered sweet wrapper to make him go to her.
2nd time he ran away, I think also when my mum went to throw garbage, but this time round no one noticed he ran out. Only later when some kids in the neighbourhood recognise him and brought him back to us. Phew, lucky McMug is quite well known in this area, otherwise he might have gone away and never be found.

So the moral of the story, careful when you left the door open. Watch out for dogs sneaking out.

Btw, am now teaching McMug a new trick. To sit on his hind legs. hee hee, cos he usually would stand on his hind legs instead. :P
