Frisbeeeee....
Yesterday when we went for the usual JRT gathering, I brought Mug's frisbee along. He had fun playing with it until Roxy came along. He took it and play and refuse to return. So in the end we let him bring it home and he can return us tomorrow. And hahaha, as all Jack Russell Terriers do (at least the typical ones) he torn the frisbee into half.
The cute thing was, McMug was actually quite generous with his frisbee. When Roxy took his frisbee, McMug did not act aggressive to snatch back. He did tried to get it back, but he was actually doing it playfully, like doing tug-o-war and chasing at the same time. Hahaha
I've always know McMug is a good dog and these few nights really confirmed that. He was not aggressive to dogs, in fact he was very friendly. He would approach the dogs and try all means to get the other party to play with him. Either by lying flat on the floor doing the commando crawl to "feed the other dog's ego" or he would stretch his front legs and lift up his butt, an action of inviting the other dog to play. He would not become aggressive unless the other dog tried to attack him first. So he is now known as our PR manager (I think i mention this before)
And McMug has become more and more obedient. When called his name, he doesn't use to come back to us but now he does (occassionally when another thing is more interesting he will try to test our limits though).
Some dogs will growl when we try to take their toy away from them, but to McMug, he would do a few tug -o-war game. But when ask him to put the toy down, he will do so too. May be because we usually play throw and fetch with him. So perhaps he knows that even when we take away his toy, he will still get to play and have fun. Thus he don't mind us taking his toy away! HA!
Oh, and if anyone of the family walked away and he can't find us, he will want to follow or run to find us. Hee sooooo cute! Hee... that's my little brother. Heh heh.

Dogs fight

Okie, tonight was not such a fun night as there was a fight between two dogs. Well, not Mug though. Rich and Roxy. Rich was growling at Roxy when both Roxy and Mug went too near him. Then Roxy couldn't stand the growling and started to bite Rich ear. Hai... poor Rich cried in pain and Rich Mummy quickly picked him up to prevent further injury. And in the process she got hurt, not sure by Roxy or Rich. Fortunately McMug did not get involve. Not sure whether it's because he's so dense that he didn't know that there was a fight going on or is it that he's just a dog that doesn't like to fight.

I told my dad, looking at the dogs around the estate, McMug looked fierce with his muscular build and sharp, strong jaws. But who would expect him to be so friendly. Our dear old PR manager. Hahaha...

And when Roxy Mummy brought some medication down for Rich's ear, McMug thought she got food inside the plastic bag (which actually contain the medication). My oh my, he really is a dog that can be easily satisfied with some food or a toy to chew. hiak hiak...

Rich and Rich's Mum and Sister

Hahaha... McMug is so lucky to know Rich. And Rich mummy is so nice. She brought Rich's treat to give Mug. And my greedy dog finish everything for her. Sigh... no wonder his size is getting bigger.
Tonight we saw the "Cat uncle" (he looked after the stray cats around this area) and seems like a lady from Cat Welfare Society helped him to bring some of the cats for sterilisation. Well... the cats in our area had been giving birth to many kittens. If no one is there to look after them and there are those people who ill treat animals around, I mean, it may be better if we control the number of cats around.
Nevertheless, at least we know there still are people out there that love animals and want to help them. There is still hope in this world. Hahahahaha....

McMug VS Roxy VS Rich

Ok, so there we go, 3 JRT wrestling togather. Hahaha.... it was in the late evening that we took mug for his usual walk and we met Rich ( a JRT 1month older than mug but half mug's size. Tan and white colour) and Roxy (silky hair JRT with serious allergy to grass and some 20 other types of allergy). So as you probably can guess what will happened when you put 3 JRTs togather. Mug and Roxy being about the same size started pouncing on one another and giving chase and Rich being the small one will go behind them and give a few barks every now and then.
Then Mug unable to beat Roxy in the wrestle would use his "running" tatic. He ran onto the grass patch which infortunately for Roxy is an out of bound place due to his skin condition. If not the grass, Mug would then run up the playground facilities. Up the steps and then down the slide, with Roxy behind him. Hahaha... they were really enjoying themselves.
As for Rich, he would play with Mug too and the cute thing was Mug's playing style with dogs smaller size then him. He would lie flat on the ground, and do the "commando crawl". That is, he would drag his hind legs with him while he played with the other dog so that he make himself short enough for the other fellow to reach. Hahaha...he does looked abit silly, but that's very kind of him too isn't it?
Friends comes in all sort of colours, sizes and ages and it's nice to have friends around, even for dogs. Have you been in contact with your friends lately?

I've created a new blog for myself: I wish I'm small

McMug And Frisbee

I bought a frisbee for McMug yesterday, but I didn't leave it for him to play like his other toys as I know how much a strong "chewer" he is. He can chew blunt both ends of a doggy chewing bone in just ONE day. Anyway, after he got a feel of playing with his new toy, he saw where I kept it, and would look at the place and start whining. Cheh, I won't give in to him, or $ will just fly away in one day.

This evening, I intended to let McMug learn how to catch a flying frisbee, so I brought him to the nearby big field. And you know who we met? NoNo! McMug's chasing and running buddy! Haha, they were so happy to see each other! Then I threw the frisbee for Mug to catch, and NoNo joined in. NoNo is bigger and faster than Mug, so of course she got the frisbee before Mug (BTW, both of them can't catch it in the air yet). Ya, so they tried to get the frisbee for themselves and things didn't turn out very nice. NoNo get a little more aggressive then usual. I carried Mug out of her way and NoNo's owner pulled her away. The frisbee definitely had to be removed from them. Lucky things stay that way and didn't get any worse. They are still friendly to each other. Phew.

And when we return home, as ususual, anytime after playing with NoNo, McMug had to take his bath. Arrrgh.... had to remove all the saliva from his body!!!!!
