This morning when my dad and I brought McMug for his usual walk, we met this Jack Russell Terrier alone walking around. My dad met this dog before, and knew that he is not agressive, so we decided to let McMug play with him (McMug is super playful and can play with anyone that is willing to play). And so they did.
Initially this dog was quite reserve and kind of back off when McMug approach. Then finally they played together. Playing is normal as JRT are all very active, the thing is, this dog wanted to mount on McMug, who is also a MALE DOG!!!! Hahaha...
Anyway, as the owner is nowwhere to be found, we decided to leave the dog and take McMug home. But the other dog was so persistent that he even followed us, and stupid McMug, as playful as he was, refuse to go home and continue playing chasing game with the other dog.
Finally the other dog's owner appear. TaDa... But the funny part was, this dog doesn't want to go home. By this time I already carried McMug to "lure" he back to his owner who was calling him from afar. But he stood on his two hind legs and look "longingly" at McMug when I stood there talking to his owner.
You thought this is going to end when the owner came into the scene? NO!
As the owner just went to do some grocery shopping, she couldn't carry her dog home, so she told us to just carry on back home, and her dog will return home on his own. And so we did. And this little fellow perservere and followed us too. So my dad and I came up with this idea. My dad will stop the dog, and I shall carry McMug home, as far away from the other Dog as possible. But the dog tried to chase when I ran away carrying McMug.
Fortunately my dad managed to hold him back a little so McMug and Icould "escape" . My poor dad tried to "escort" the dog home, back as he did not know which unit the dog stay, so he could only leave him somewhere near the spot we met his owner. But this doggy attempted to follow my dad. And somehow, my dad could stop him from tailing along and came home. Phew. What an adventure for the whole morning.
*chuckle* I think McMug might be a "Bishonen" in the doggies world as the other male dog actually mistook him for a female. (Bishonen means "pretty boy" in Jap).
